About the position

The IT Operations Analyst role at CVS Health is focused on providing a single point of contact for resolving technical problems within the CVS Health environment. This position is crucial for ensuring continuity of service and delivering high-quality support within committed service levels. The Analyst will engage in first-level responses to alerts, ensuring that incidents and requests are logged, escalated, and resolved effectively, while maintaining a strong emphasis on customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level engagement in response to alerts throughout the CVS Health environment.
  • Ensure continuity of service and high-quality support within committed service levels.
  • Log, escalate, and resolve events, incidents, problems, and requests appropriately.
  • React quickly and make critical decisions that impact store, corporate, and employee satisfaction.
  • Deliver prompt, professional customer service following specific guidelines.
  • Accurately document and rectify problems, ensuring proper follow-up as needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in IT customer service, product support, or production support.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Willingness to work 6a-6p EST three and a half days a week on a rotating basis, including weekends.

Nice-to-haves

  • Expertise in operating within corporate Data Center and/or Command Center environments.
  • Experience using an IT service management tool such as ServiceNow.
  • Experience or strong desire to learn how to operate and troubleshoot in a Mainframe environment.
