This role focuses on leveraging data from IT management and operational systems to develop key performance indicators (KPIs), create insightful data visualizations, and establish comprehensive reporting mechanisms, including cost reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and business intelligence, with a keen ability to translate technical data into actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. As an IT Operations Analyst, you will utilize leading analytics platforms and programming languages, such as Power BI or ServiceNow, to develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and reports that provide insights into IT operational performance, service levels, and cost efficiency. You will collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to identify reporting requirements and deliver tailored analytics solutions. Additionally, you will design and implement data visualization tools to make complex data more accessible, understandable, and usable for non-technical stakeholders. Your responsibilities will also include conducting deep-dive incident analyses to uncover underlying causes of service disruptions, performance bottlenecks, and other operational issues. You will recommend improvements based on data-driven insights to enhance system performance, reliability, and efficiency. Furthermore, you will develop and maintain cost reporting mechanisms to track IT spending and identify opportunities for cost optimization. Staying abreast of the latest trends and technologies in IT operations management and business intelligence will be crucial to continually improve data reporting and analytics practices. Ensuring data accuracy and integrity by implementing quality control measures and validation processes will also be part of your role. Lastly, you will facilitate training and workshops for IT and business teams to enhance data literacy and promote a data-driven culture.
