About the position

The IT Operations Analyst is responsible for managing and supporting IT operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of systems and applications. This role requires a strong background in both Windows and Linux environments, as well as experience with ticketing systems like ServiceNow and JIRA. The analyst will work in a hybrid model, providing support after hours and during the third shift as needed, while maintaining a customer-oriented approach in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support IT operations for Windows and Linux systems.
• Utilize ServiceNow and JIRA for ticketing and issue resolution.
• Perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions to users.
• Support system changes and be available for after-hours work as needed.
• Lift and set up heavy workstations and monitors as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Technical Certificate required or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of experience in IT operations.
• 2-3 years of recent hands-on experience with Windows/Linux.
• 5+ years of recent hands-on experience with ServiceNow and JIRA ticketing systems.
• 5 years of experience with MS Office suite, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
• Ability to work overnight on the third shift and perform overtime when required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with LINUX scripting and Java.
