About the position
The position at Vanderbilt University Medical Center involves providing support for continuous improvement projects and change management initiatives within the HealthIT Process Improvement and Operations team. Responsibilities
- Provides support to process strategy
- Collaborates with specific partners and stakeholders
- Supports projects through individual contribution
- Provides support to projects to implement process improvements
- Supports data collection for project scorecard reports to reflect KPIs
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams in developing solutions to address internal process problems utilizing fact-based decision-making approaches
- Supports aspects of process improvement including, but not limited to, process analysis, meeting facilitation, implementation and confirming results
- Provides management with project status updates, feedback, and appropriate reporting on key responsibilities and objectives
- Contributes to implementation of solutions to improve process awareness and effectiveness of initiative success
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 2 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in Lean Six Sigma process improvement is a plus
