About the position

The position at Vanderbilt University Medical Center involves providing support for continuous improvement projects and change management initiatives within the HealthIT Process Improvement and Operations team. The role focuses on enhancing efficiency and customer experience through the operationalization of various initiatives, managing project coordination, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address internal process challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Provides support to process strategy
  • Collaborates with specific partners and stakeholders
  • Supports projects through individual contribution
  • Provides support to projects to implement process improvements
  • Supports data collection for project scorecard reports to reflect KPIs
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams in developing solutions to address internal process problems utilizing fact-based decision-making approaches
  • Supports aspects of process improvement including, but not limited to, process analysis, meeting facilitation, implementation and confirming results
  • Provides management with project status updates, feedback, and appropriate reporting on key responsibilities and objectives
  • Contributes to implementation of solutions to improve process awareness and effectiveness of initiative success

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in Lean Six Sigma process improvement is a plus
