About the position

The IT Operations Intern position at TD SYNNEX offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in IT operations within a global IT distributor. This full-time internship lasts for 10 weeks, starting on May 19th, and is designed for business and IT majors. Interns will work on various projects that have a measurable impact on the business while also engaging in networking opportunities with executives and participating in team-building activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the identification and analysis of recurring incidents to determine root causes and implement permanent solutions.
• Help in the identification, logging, and resolution of incidents, including monitoring incident queues and escalating issues as needed.
• Prepare reports on incident trends, service performance, and other key metrics, while maintaining IT service management documentation.
• Participate in meetings with stakeholders to discuss ongoing issues and collaborate with other departments to improve processes.
• Engage in training sessions to enhance knowledge of IT service management practices and tools, including shadowing senior team members.

Requirements

• Current college student, preferably rising juniors and above, including May 2025 graduates.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. (sponsorship is not provided).
• Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for a total of 10 weeks during the program.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suites including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
