About the position

As an IT Operations Manager at Micron Technology, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how the world uses information to enrich lives. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the delivery of one or more assigned services, working closely with the Sr. Manager of Operations, Solutions Managers, and various stakeholders across the globe. You will collaborate with IT architects, business stakeholders, and IT program/project managers to make strategic and operational decisions that align with the service's objectives. Your enterprise relationships will be crucial in ensuring that the service meets its Service Level Agreements (SLAs). In this role, you will also serve as a conduit for demand and resource management, balancing personnel and budgets to achieve desired outcomes. You will be responsible for overseeing business compliance activities for the service on a worldwide scale, ensuring that all operations adhere to relevant regulations and standards. Additionally, you will manage the performance of third-party contractors and vendors, ensuring that they meet the expectations set forth by Micron Technology. This position may offer the flexibility of telecommuting from home part-time, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the delivery of assigned services in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Collaborate with Sr. Manager of Operations, Solutions Managers, and IT stakeholders to make strategic and operational decisions.
  • Manage demand and resource allocation, balancing personnel and budgets to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Oversee business compliance activities for the service on a global scale.
  • Manage performance and relationships with third-party contractors and vendors.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in IT operations management and service delivery.
  • Strong understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and compliance activities.
