Empower AI is seeking an IT Operations Manager to provide consulting services to professional staff and customers in the analysis and design of various data processing systems, management systems, and scientific systems. The role involves making technical decisions regarding the types of data to be gathered and the methods for data collection and analysis. The IT Operations Manager will provide technical direction, guidance, and assistance to assigned projects, suggesting efficient approaches and methods for problem-solving. This position requires the development of analytical and computational techniques and methodologies for problem solutions, as well as the preparation and presentation of written and oral reports. The IT Operations Manager will also prepare and present proposals, primarily in their field of specialty, and will analyze, diagnose, and recommend solutions to complex problems. Serving as the principal analyst for research projects, the manager will develop advanced concepts of automation and information processing, including display, control, and transfer for various subsystems. Conducting research and analysis of algorithms and defining data structures that lead to highly efficient system design parameters is also a key responsibility. The work is performed under the general direction of a senior-level manager, and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates and client personnel at all levels is essential. Additionally, the role includes cost management responsibility within the assigned area.
