About the position

The Senior Action Officer for J64 TFS DCD On/Off-Boarding and Transfers PMO is responsible for coordinating and maintaining operational plans and performance metrics within the J64 and J6 HQs. This role involves gathering and analyzing operational information, preparing briefings for senior leadership, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, develop, and maintain current and future plans and operations for J64 TFS DCD On/Off-Boarding and Transfers PMO.
• Gather, evaluate, and report operational information across J64 TFS and other J6 Enterprise Service Areas.
• Develop and report PMO performance metrics to identify trends and assess effectiveness.
• Prepare and deliver briefings to senior leadership to inform and persuade support for J6 mission and objectives.
• Draft memoranda, policy instructions, or internal reports regarding J64 operations.
• Establish short, mid, and long-range planning objectives in alignment with DLA J6 goals and DoD directives.
• Plan, schedule, and conduct IT initiatives in support of J64 operations.

Requirements

• One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of laws, regulations, and DLA policies applicable to functional and administrative areas.
• Mastery level knowledge of IT principles, security concepts, and DLA J6 operations.
• Analytical skills to resolve complex issues related to work methods and data management.
• Experience in developing and maintaining account control procedures.
