About the position

The IT Operations Specialist at Safran is responsible for ensuring the proper installation and operation of IT and telephony equipment linked to workstations. This role involves providing frontline support to resolve incidents, maintaining equipment, and managing operations in compliance with quality standards. The specialist will also monitor physical IT equipment, deploy software, and contribute to service improvement initiatives, all while ensuring effective communication with stakeholders regarding high-priority issues.

Responsibilities

• Install IT or telephony equipment including applications and hardware.
• Deploy software according to company and user needs.
• Diagnose and resolve frontline anomalies or incidents both on-site and remotely.
• Install security updates as per corporate requirements.
• Ensure incidents and requests are resolved according to defined service level agreements (SLAs).
• Develop key team deliverables and dashboards.
• Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve security metrics and services.
• Communicate timely and clearly regarding high-priority issues with stakeholders.
• Provide Active Directory support and manage user accounts.
• Document all activities through a ticketing system.
• Conduct basic network administration and user training.
• Administer and configure cellphones for users.

Requirements

• 2 to 3 years of experience in technology and program management.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred.
• Familiarity with IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) V3 Foundation certification.
• One year experience leading high priority incident calls to resolution.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow.
• Experience with Windows 10/11 operating systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365.
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and group policy management.
