About the position

The IT Operations Support role is focused on troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to ensure the smooth operation of systems and processes. This position provides essential administrative support and requires a proactive approach to monitoring system performance and maintaining network security.

Responsibilities

  • Provides technical support to customers and staff, troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Monitors system performance and ensures that all systems and processes are running efficiently.
  • Installs and configures hardware, software, and networks.
  • Performs system maintenance tasks, including system upgrades and patches.
  • Creates and maintains user accounts and access levels.
  • Monitors network security and ensures compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Generates reports, analyzes data, and documents processes.
  • Provides administrative support to staff as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Thorough understanding of technology, software, and hardware.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficient with or able to quickly learn the software and applications used in the organization and the industry.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field required.
  • At least 2 years of IT operations support experience.
