The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) - Office of Innovation is seeking a qualified Operations Support person to enhance day-to-day support operations. This role is crucial for monitoring and correcting data within the nightly ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, ensuring that all tasks are completed according to established deadlines and within budget constraints. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the OMES-IS Legacy Application Development team, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the department's operations. In this position, the Operations Support role will be responsible for business process monitoring, ensuring that all activities align with the agency's strategic goals and commitments. The candidate will be expected to adhere to the IT policies of the agency and the State of Oklahoma, including Information Security Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines. This includes strict compliance with confidentiality protocols regarding Protected Health Information (PHI), Personally Identifiable Information (PII), and Family Educational Rights and Privacy (FERPA). The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems (MIS) and have 1-2 years of relevant experience in an Information Technology enterprise environment. Alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered, allowing for one additional year of qualifying experience to substitute for each year of required education. The role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving, with responsibilities including data error correction, coordination with business users for break-fix resolutions, and the preparation of program documentation to support new or enhanced systems and applications.
