The Portfolio & Program Manager at TruGreen is responsible for the strategic direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of various strategic portfolios and their associated projects. This role is crucial in ensuring that all projects align with the organization's goals and the commitments of the Project Management Office (PMO). The manager will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning to execution, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This position requires a strong partnership with both internal and external stakeholders, particularly in managing the IT Portfolio tower, which includes Dynamics 365. The manager will serve as a liaison between project teams, business partners, and technical resources, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. In addition to managing project managers and vendor resources, the Portfolio & Program Manager will be accountable for the overall delivery of the portfolio. This includes establishing work plans, managing resources, and ensuring that all projects adhere to governance processes. The role also involves conducting thorough analyses of project budgets, tracking performance using standardized KPIs, and identifying opportunities for improvement. The manager will be responsible for building roadmaps for multi-year initiatives, conducting impact analyses, and proactively identifying and mitigating risks that may affect project completion. This position requires a strong focus on customer satisfaction, effective communication, and the ability to drive results under challenging circumstances. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical and leadership skills, with a strong background in project management methodologies, particularly Agile and Lean practices.
