About the position

This remote position is responsible for coordinating the implementation and technical integration solutions of transactions related to Applications and Software Engineering. The role involves working closely with applications and technical teams to ensure efficient network connectivity and data flow, while also serving as a primary technical liaison and consultant on infrastructure initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary technical liaison to the Applications & Software Engineering Tower.
  • Act as a general internal consultant on Infrastructure including network, security, integration, and architecture initiatives.
  • Collaborate with all towers to ensure deployment of solutions meets standards.
  • Provide final Solution design to the governing board for approval.
  • Support standardization of documentation and integration of standards and practices.
  • Maintain knowledge of new developments and research related to technical architecture and healthcare IT trends.
  • Oversee efforts with key technical teams to understand future changes in IT standards and apply these to final designs.
  • Oversee complex configuration of IT and business requirements on all Software implementations and discovery efforts.
  • Work closely with managers, project managers, and business partner leaders to define and develop or implement solutions.
  • Help IT staff, business partners, and leadership understand potential risks, functionality, development approaches, possible enhancements, and process improvements.
  • Provide advanced level technical support to resolve problems.
  • Integrate processes that align with business strategy with IT staff.
  • Work with enterprise architecture teams to integrate new entities and standards.
  • Stay connected with industry best practices and technical methodologies.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of IT staff through education activities in support of technical solutions.
  • Work closely with committees as a liaison to align needs with application functionality.
  • Plan for implementation of formal and informal project requests including development of financial estimates with Project Managers, Leaders, and Business partners.
  • Support final testing to resolve risks and issues with Project Managers, Leaders, and project teams.
  • Perform additional tasks/responsibilities as defined, including after hours support of go-live activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience in a Healthcare environment.
  • 7+ years of Rhapsody development experience required.
