About the position

The IT Product Manager for Merchandising Systems will oversee applications that support the operations of the Merchandising Department. This role involves developing a product roadmap based on stakeholder input, market research, and industry insights, while coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of projects.

Responsibilities

• Own product roadmap, including writing product definitions and driving cross-functional execution.
• Establish performance goals and develop measurable performance standards for projects.
• Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, driving strategy and capabilities while coordinating with partner teams.
• Set and communicate project timelines and release schedules, adjusting expectations as necessary.
• Prioritize effectively between feature roadmap, tech foundational efforts, and bug fixes.
• Manage partner/vendor relationships for support and project execution.
• Work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a focus on customer experience and business value.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a senior product manager, product owner, or tech product manager.
• Experience managing product roadmap with multiple projects and ongoing activities.
• Experience creating high-level design visualization and documentation (BRD, FDD, EPIC, user stories).
• Experience in business process improvement documentation by modeling and mapping processes.
• Ability to work with all levels of staff, including senior leadership, to achieve goals.
• Excellent critical and strategic thinking skills.
• Advanced degree in Product Management or equivalent work experience.
• Prior experience working in Retail (not e-commerce) is a huge plus.
• Experience implementing a Product Information Management System (PIM) is a plus.
