About the position

The IT Product Manager - Omni Channel at Sprouts Farmers Market is responsible for driving the strategic modernization of the company's omni-channel products, enhancing customer experiences both online and in-store. This role involves managing a product roadmap, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing best practices for product delivery and feature enhancements. The position requires a focus on customer needs, industry trends, and the integration of new technologies to support a growing marketplace ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate to inform multi-year Omni Channel strategy by providing insights into industry trends.
  • Assist leadership in determining work priorities by providing insights on value, scope, cost, and resourcing needs.
  • Support program management of strategic projects, orchestrating discovery, scoping, and implementation for complex cross-platform projects.
  • Identify ways to optimize and automate processes for efficiency gains.
  • Act as an IT Product Manager for the entire portfolio, representing customer needs and building capabilities that align with business value.
  • Create, prioritize, and maintain an Omni Channel product backlog that supports a multi-year strategy with regular pulse checks with the business.
  • Serve as an internal SME on technical topics related to commerce and digital technology, coordinating enhancements with product owners and business analysts.
  • Manage and support the delivery of shop.sprouts and mobile application code and platform modernization efforts, creating processes for ongoing iterative release cycles.
  • Lead a cross-functional agile team to deliver backlog functionality, including new Marketplace vendors and enterprise reporting.
  • Maintain customer-facing Microsite properties and internal WordPress applications with frequent release updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital commerce management.
  • 2+ years of managerial experience leading cross-functional teams and projects.
  • Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
  • In-depth experience or knowledge of WordPress or other CMS tools, Google Analytics, and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of system integrations (API and batch), commerce platforms, and digital authentication (CIAM).
  • Strong vendor management and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, the SDLC, and basic web development.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working in Azure DevOps or a similar environment.
  • Knowledge of Composable Commerce is a plus.
