About the position

The IT Product Manager for Retail at North Highland is responsible for leading product management initiatives that support Supply Chain, Inventory Management, and Merchandising IT projects for retail clients. This role involves executing the product roadmap, managing stakeholder expectations, conducting performance analysis, and facilitating process improvements to enhance product features and user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the product organization in executing the product roadmap, collaborating with internal and external resources.
  • Plan and support the performance of product features under direction.
  • Lead structured meetings to communicate expectations, plans, and requirements for the product, keeping stakeholders updated on progress.
  • Manage expectations and facilitate process mapping, gap analysis, and data flow assessments to evaluate business implications of features.
  • Conduct analysis to determine feature performance and identify improvement opportunities, including trend line and multivariate analysis.
  • Build models to assess impact on KPIs and user value.
  • Regularly review and interpret metrics, reporting on the state of assigned features.
  • Develop hypotheses regarding feature performance and expected outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of experience in IT product management, specifically in Supply Chain, Inventory Management, and Merchandising.
  • 3 years of experience as a product owner.
  • Understanding of data products, consumer insights, and product management principles.
  • Ability to create roadmaps, define value, drive prioritization, and collaborate with leadership, business, and engineering teams to develop product features.
  • Demonstrated expertise in relevant development tools and the ability to apply that knowledge independently.
  • Experience in developing and implementing systems/products/features for customers, evaluating performance, and proposing improvements.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with leadership and technical/business colleagues.
  • Experience in analyzing outcomes of landscape changes and developing actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to prioritize feature changes effectively in line with the product roadmap.
