About the position

The Senior IT Product Manager for Revenue & Commissions at Rubrik will play a pivotal role in managing the Revenue track from an IT perspective, ensuring that the needs of various stakeholders, including Accounts Receivables, Revenue, Accounting, and Commissions, are met throughout the Order to Cash (O2C) process. This position is part of the Enterprise Applications team, which is responsible for enhancing business processes and employee experiences through various SaaS applications. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced agile environment, driving multiple initiatives of varying sizes and complexities from inception to delivery. They will be accountable for project management, defining and executing project plans, and ensuring that systems within the AR & Revenue track function optimally. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders to understand their needs, effectively document business requirements, and communicate with both onsite and offshore IT teams to drive results. The Senior IT Product Manager will manage the impact of O2C and Revenue activities on finance systems, including ERP and accounting systems like Netsuite and Xactly. They will also be responsible for end-to-end program management, from proposal through solution delivery and business adoption, utilizing an agile/sprint framework. The candidate will work with cross-functional teams to identify project scope, estimate work efforts, define timelines, and manage resources, while also communicating proactively about system upgrades and conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions with business users. In addition to technical skills, the candidate must possess strong communication abilities to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and manage relationships with vendors. They will also be expected to train IT and business users on new features and functionalities, ensuring that product issues are resolved efficiently. This role is critical in supporting Rubrik's mission to secure the world's data and will require a blend of business acumen, process knowledge, and the ability to adapt to new technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Revenue track from an IT perspective, ensuring stakeholder needs are met.
  • Document business requirements and communicate effectively with IT teams.
  • Manage the impact of Order to Cash and Revenue activities on finance systems.
  • Adapt quickly to new technologies and find innovative solutions.
  • Oversee end-to-end program management from proposal to solution delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope and timelines.
  • Communicate with onsite/offshore stakeholders during non-traditional hours.
  • Proactively communicate system upgrades and conduct UAT sessions.
  • Train IT and business users on new features and functionalities.
  • Resolve product issues by managing service tickets with vendors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Engineering with 10+ years of experience in business systems and analytics.
  • Minimum of 8+ years experience in AR & Revenue operations with strong process knowledge on Order to Cash (O2C).
  • 5+ years of extensive Revenue Management experience with tools like Netsuite ARM and RevPro.
  • Experience with Xactly commission expense accounting (CEA) is a plus.
  • Extensive cross-functional knowledge in enterprise business processes.
  • Hands-on experience in leading SaaS/Cloud solutions such as NetSuite and Xactly.
  • Strong business sense and process knowledge, evaluating impacts and best practices.
  • Multi-tasking and prioritization expertise, balancing various priorities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all organizational levels.
  • Experience working with an onsite/offshore model is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
