About the position

Corteva Agriscience is seeking an innovative and energetic IT Product Manager (ITPM) with expertise in Salesforce CRM Management. The ITPM will be responsible for identifying and delivering IT solutions through Salesforce CRM and related products, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and technology patterns. This role involves leading a team of Engineers, Architects, and IT Product Leads to translate technology priorities into actionable requirements that support Corteva's strategic goals and drive transformational business outcomes. As a Technology Leader, the ITPM will manage all technical aspects of applications and services within the Salesforce CRM product family, leveraging a breadth of domain knowledge to anticipate future needs and create product roadmaps. The ITPM will also align product delivery efforts with business roadmaps and strategic priorities, leading discovery and innovation to identify solution options for business needs. Collaboration with business stakeholders and IT partners is essential to ensure that delivery priorities align with detailed requirements. In the operational aspect of the role, the ITPM will ensure high productivity within the team, which includes managing 8-10 direct reports and contracted delivery partners. The ITPM will drive improvements in development processes, facilitate rapid discovery and experimentation, and demonstrate commercial acumen to contribute to business case development. This position requires strong leadership skills to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of complex products, ensuring successful product delivery and support while articulating technical product strategies and specifications. The ITPM will also maintain strong business and IT partnerships, providing technical leadership to ensure IT solutions meet business needs in alignment with industry standards. The role involves strategizing to enable convergence of IT and business strategies, leading product development, and ensuring comprehensive product views are available for reporting and monitoring product health. The ITPM will be viewed as a product expert and will be responsible for evolving the technical direction of the products while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet Corteva's pressing business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Influences and executes on a defined business roadmap for Salesforce CRM products.
  • Ensures successful product delivery inclusive of support.
  • Responsible for building the vision for the IT products/services, in alignment with business value/strategy roadmaps.
  • Responsible for financial management of the product family, including vendor contracts and Total Cost of Ownership.
  • Articulates and writes technical product strategies, working with cross-functional groups to achieve necessary support.
  • Facilitates development of clear, detailed, and thorough specifications for complex services and features of products.
  • Articulates key product messaging for business and IT colleagues.
  • Manages the end-to-end lifecycle(s) of complex products.
  • Consults on epics and user stories across multiple complex and cross-functional feature/service areas as needed.
  • Collaborates with Business stakeholders and IT Product Leads to ensure that the right products are delivered to meet business needs.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years' experience with Salesforce CRM managing others, a product, or technical lead.
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience having led direct reports.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Working knowledge in the application of User Experience (UX) and User Interaction (UI) best practices in website and mobile application design.
  • Experience with enterprise-level, global Salesforce implementations and migrations.
  • Experience working across multicultural environments and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to conduct business with global, multicultural, multilanguage teams.
  • Ability to communicate and influence senior leaders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Practical experience in agriculture or pharma industry is helpful, but not required.
