About the position

The IT Product Manager - SVP is a senior management role responsible for overseeing a team of Technical Product Specialists and managing the product management lifecycle. This position involves setting strategic direction, developing product roadmaps, and coordinating product lines to enhance market share and competitive positioning. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals and effective product delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Technical Product Specialists
  • Initiate the development process, document project scope, and product vision
  • Prioritize user stories and set feature level priorities
  • Conduct demos and walkthroughs
  • Hold Business Analysts accountable for writing stories/tasks that meet the Definition of Ready
  • Drive alignment of peer Product teams and coordinate with Stakeholder priorities
  • Create, prioritize, and maintain a product backlog
  • Oversee user acceptance testing to identify and remedy defects
  • Manage the strategic product development and existing product enhancement roadmap
  • Leverage internal/external partners to innovate and define new products/solutions
  • Participate in strategies around resource allocation between research and analytics solutions
  • Manage the creation and negotiation of client agreements and vendor contracts
  • Interface with operations and technology for process design and vendor procurement
  • Assess risk in business decisions and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Requirements

  • At least 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in Risk Management
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to achieve business goals
  • Diverse functional experience in marketing, credit, acquisitions, product development, and analytics
  • Demonstrated experience driving business innovation using data analytics
  • Experience in scenario development and forecasting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of product development and financial acumen
  • Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong analytical and influencing skills
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication
