The IT Product Manager at Motion Industries is responsible for leading and facilitating the delivery of modern IT product solutions across the organization. This role is pivotal in developing and managing a high-performing, collaboration-focused team that ensures a continuous flow of customer value to meet business objectives. The IT Product Manager will work closely with various internal business teams to deliver valuable products and services from ideation through to implementation. This position requires a strong understanding of market research, product vision, and strategy, as well as the ability to identify opportunities for utilizing technology to enhance business process efficiency. In this role, the IT Product Manager will manage team members in gathering customer requirements and analyzing market research to synthesize relevant information that contributes to the overall product vision. The individual will lead and influence the delivery of innovative product solutions, ensuring that the product management team, which includes product owners and business analysts, is empowered and well-defined in their roles and career paths. Performance reviews for direct reports will be conducted, and appropriate training will be provided to maintain their knowledge, skills, and abilities. The IT Product Manager will also be responsible for conducting research to determine whether to build or buy products, identifying third-party solutions, and collaborating with vendor partners to develop best-in-breed solutions that increase speed to market. The role involves developing and implementing processes and standards that ensure initiatives provide expected value using agile best practices. The IT Product Manager will plan and communicate new product capabilities and process improvements through product roadmaps, epics, features, enablers, and user stories, utilizing SAFe agile techniques such as Lean User Experience (UX) and Journey Mapping to evolve product strategy and roadmaps. Additionally, the individual will monitor business key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of product enhancements and provide monthly status updates on all major initiatives on the product roadmap.
