About the position

The IT Product Owner at Eaton will lead transformative change in the supplier master data domain, partnering with key business stakeholders to develop and implement a next-generation Master Data Management (MDM) strategy. This role is crucial for driving productivity, enhancing decision-making, and fostering growth within the organization. The position requires collaboration across Eaton's global IT organization and involves managing the global product backlog to ensure alignment with business priorities and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with business executives and business process owners to create the enterprise product vision and roadmap for Supplier MDM.
• Define user stories and collaborate with the global product team to effectively prioritize deliverables, features, and functionality tied back to business outcomes.
• Create processes for gathering, managing, and executing the product backlog.
• Drive Next Generation MDM principles, processes, and technologies across Eaton.
• Outline Next Generation Supplier MDM data strategy, product roadmap, key business outcomes, and communicate effectively across a global business product team.
• Spearhead key change management aspects across the Supplier MDM Product in partnership with global business process owners to drive engagement, awareness, and deliver key outcomes.
• Support execution on a comprehensive Information and Data value stream strategy.
• Deliver Information and Data via DevOps standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution required.
• A minimum of 6 years of data/application management experience with an emphasis on Master Data Management processes and technologies.
• Minimum 3 years of Product Owner/MDM Project Management experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of Master Data Management principles and next-generation technologies in the market supplier/partner data domains.
• Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of any Eaton location in the United States to be considered for this opportunity.
• Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States on a continuous basis without company sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves

• Supplier MDM technology landscape, Reltio MDM, Kafka, Snowflake, Cloudera, Alation, SAP S4.
• Experience and demonstrated understanding of global supply chain function in a multinational organization.
• Previous experience partnering closely with an enterprise architecture organization to lead and facilitate future state workshops and drive enterprise strategy.
• Working knowledge of Oracle's Master Data Management EBS Suite focused on partner/supplier domains a plus.
• Relationship management experience specifically working across business functions and resources to deliver priority items.
• Experience managing program delivery within an agile framework and under a product management foundation.
• Experience working with a mixture of third-party and cloud-native technologies and ecosystems, including AWS, MS Azure, Snowflake.
