About the position

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Product Owner to join the Labcorp Patient product team. This individual will be responsible for maximizing the utilization and value of the Salesforce Marketing platform as it pertains to patient engagement. The role requires a holistic and strategic mindset, demonstrating a passion for delivering a superior patient experience while also considering operational efficiencies. The Product Owner will partner with stakeholders across the organization to engage consumers and patients effectively. As the domain expert for the Salesforce Marketing platform, the Product Owner will possess deep knowledge of its current capabilities and potential. The goal is to significantly advance the utilization of the Salesforce Marketing platform from both a feature/capability and enterprise engagement standpoint. This will involve synthesizing various data points to develop proposals that align with the Patient product strategy and best serve organizational needs. The scope of work includes patient transactional communications, marketing communications, growing the contactable database, and leveraging a comprehensive view of the patient. The objective is to fully maximize the value of the Salesforce Marketing platform, which will require collaboration with peers on the Patient Product team, Marketing, Customer Service, and other stakeholders. The Product Owner will adhere to Agile principles and ceremonies to take features to market effectively. They will be KPI-minded, understanding and driving specific outcomes, ensuring that all internal stakeholders are prepared to support feature launches. This position requires a high-level understanding of the software development lifecycle, complex product management processes including roadmap development, backlog grooming, new feature design and development, project management, and user experience design. Responsibilities

  • Best utilize current capabilities across the enterprise
  • Identify and implement new capabilities that bring value to the organization
  • Grow the contactable database
  • Serve as the domain expert and point of contact for the Salesforce Marketing platform
  • Assess the Salesforce product capabilities and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Evaluate and prioritize opportunities based on cost/benefit analysis
  • Develop and maintain a strategy including clear objectives and a roadmap
  • Maintain a prioritized backlog for the Salesforce development team
  • Lead the delivery of roadmap features by detailing requirements and guiding the team through delivery
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to engage patients and extend the platform where appropriate
  • Support the Patient product team roadmap related to patient transactional communications
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team
  • Contribute to KPI development and implement mechanisms to measure product performance and customer satisfaction
  • Stay updated on the latest technologies and innovations
  • Meet deadlines and escalate issues to key project leaders as necessary

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner focused on the Salesforce platform
  • Deep understanding of the Salesforce Marketing product capabilities
  • Experience in product engineering and product management processes using agile methodology
  • Entrepreneurial drive and ability to work at a fast pace
  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills based on experience, metrics, and insights
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to present technical and non-technical information clearly
  • Highly skilled at facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution
  • Experience in healthcare and consumer solutions is highly preferred
  • Broad technical exposure with the ability to learn new technology tools and concepts quickly
  • Strong understanding of agile development methodologies
  • Experience with project life-cycle management tools such as Confluence and JIRA
  • Bachelor's degree required
