About the position
The IT Professional 2 position in Application Development & Analysis is responsible for analyzing, developing, implementing, maintaining, and modifying computer operations, systems, networks, databases, applications, and information security. This role involves journey-level duties and may include leading lower-level IT staff. The incumbent will be part of the CORE.NV ERP Implementation team, focusing on developing integrations between the CORE.NV ERP system and various legacy or external applications, creating reports, and performing technical and analytical duties as needed for the project.
Responsibilities
- Develop integrations or interfaces between the CORE.NV ERP system and various legacy or external applications.
- Develop Power BI reports or other reports/forms.
- Develop test scripts and/or test various technical aspects of the system.
- Write PL/SQL code and/or work with Oracle database and data warehouse objects.
- Perform other technical or analytical duties as needed for the CORE.NV Project.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or a closely related field.
- Two years of professional IT experience relevant to the duties of the position, including computer operations, systems administration, network administration, database administration, applications analysis and development, and/or information security.
- OR two years of experience as an IT Professional I in Nevada State service.
- OR four years of relevant technical experience as an IT Technician IV or above in Nevada State service.
- OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience developing interfaces/integrations between disparate business applications.
- Experience with business application design and development.
- Experience with Oracle database and data warehouse design, development, and SQL coding.
- Experience migrating or converting data between various data sources/databases.
- Experience with Power BI Report Builder.
