About the position

Join NASA as the Director of Cloud and Computing Services, where you will lead a distributed organization that enables NASA's diverse missions through the modernization and delivery of data center and cloud computing services. This role involves developing and implementing organizational and technology strategies to enhance the effective use and management of IT products and services across the Agency.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse, distributed organization providing solutions and enabling infrastructure for complex challenges.
• Collaborate with the Agency Enterprise Business Management Office (EBMO) and Cybersecurity and Privacy Division (CSPD) to enable Agency-wide acquisition and governance of cloud services.
• Develop and execute cloud and data center policies and initiatives in alignment with NASA's strategy and federal requirements.
• Create and implement NASA IT strategy, roadmap, and standards for cloud and computing services.
• Oversee the governance, management, and operations of NASA's cloud services and data center facilities.
• Transform and modernize current cloud environments to expand access to products and services while simplifying operations.
• Perform a full range of supervisory duties including assigning and evaluating work, recommending personnel actions, and identifying training needs.
• Foster a culture of engagement, diversity, inclusiveness, excellence, and innovation.

Requirements

• One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level in developing and leading cross-functional teams to meet IT service delivery requirements.
• Experience in providing guidance and oversight of budgets and government contracts to ensure requirements are met.
• Experience leading data center, compute, storage, or cloud services teams that develop or deliver IT capabilities.
