About the position

The IT Program Manager (ENTARCH/AI) (ServiceNow Architecture Developer) position is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing AI capabilities to enhance operational functions within the U.S. Department of Labor. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to identify AI opportunities, ensuring effective integration of solutions, and driving measurable improvements in efficiency and productivity. The position also includes governance and portfolio management activities, compliance with enterprise architecture standards, and managing complex IT projects.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement AI capabilities for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify AI opportunities and ensure effective integration of solutions.
  • Utilize advanced data analytics and machine learning techniques to drive performance improvements.
  • Engage in the design, testing, implementation, and quality assurance of ServiceNow solutions.
  • Review proposed architecture diagrams for compliance with technical standards.
  • Coordinate governance and portfolio management activities for enterprise architecture compliance.
  • Develop and execute test plans for technical performance of infrastructure.
  • Identify opportunities to improve enterprise-level systems and troubleshoot issues.
  • Manage IT projects with high complexity or risk and maintain documentation of system configurations.
  • Audit existing systems infrastructure and architecture for accurate understanding of capabilities.
  • Provide guidance and support to developers and project teams on accessible design and coding best practices.
  • Collaborate with diverse personnel to develop systems solutions supporting agency strategy and goals.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on Section 508 compliance.
  • Train end-users to utilize AI technologies and foster a culture of innovation.

Requirements

  • Specialized experience equivalent to GS-13 level in the Federal Service.
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party applications using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Experience with AI technologies for organizational integration.
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture concepts and methods.
  • Recognized authority in providing guidance for enterprise architecture and information management systems.
  • Attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem-solving skills.
