About the position

As a Senior IT Program Manager at the Department of the Treasury, you will oversee multi-year IT-related products, training, and customer relationship management programs. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful management and execution of various IT initiatives, aligning them with the organization's strategic goals, and ensuring compliance with regulatory policies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coordinate, integrate, and ensure accountability for the overall program management success of assigned initiatives.
  • Develop project management plans, risk and issue management plans, communication plans, scope management plans, work breakdown structures, budgets, and procurement strategies.
  • Coordinate with senior OCC leaders to ensure compliance with regulatory policies and user requirements for proposed product training programs.
  • Ensure IT product requirements are understood and met, and execution is consistent with the project plan.
  • Manage customer engagement, communication, and training activities related to IT initiatives.

Requirements

  • IT-related experience demonstrating attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem-solving competencies.
  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NB-V band level or GS-13 grade level in the Federal service, including providing technical advice on IT programs and analyzing business requirements to develop IT solutions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in federal government IT program management.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance in IT training and customer engagement.
