About the position
The IT Program Manager (PLCYPLN/INFOSEC) serves as a Supervisory Information Technology Program Manager within the Department of Defense, overseeing the implementation and maintenance of the Division's Mission Control Systems' infrastructure. This role involves managing IT projects, leading support for special events, and ensuring program readiness through business continuity planning.
Responsibilities
- Manage the implementation and maintenance of the Division's Mission Control Systems' infrastructure.
- Oversee all current, future, and proposed IT projects within the Engineering Division's portfolio.
- Lead IT support for special events, including requirements gathering and technology application.
- Interface with external/internal partners and oversee execution and validation of capabilities.
- Define business continuity scenarios and continuously review program readiness levels.
- Serve as Branch Chief/Lead and first line supervisor.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance with access to SCI and Special Access Programs (SAPs).
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level in IT program management.
- Experience providing IT program-related briefings to Senior Program leads and clients.
- Expert technical management and oversight within IT Program Management, Mission System, and Cybersecurity functions.
