About the position

The IT Program Manager for Product Cyber Security at DTS America is responsible for overseeing a range of cybersecurity programs within a matrixed organization. This role involves managing program activities related to scope, schedule, cost, and performance, while leading discussions to solve problems with technology and cross-functional teams. The position requires a strong understanding of both waterfall and agile project management methodologies, as well as the ability to create detailed reports and dashboards to track project status. The program manager will report to the Program Management Office (PMO) and work closely with assigned software development teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive program management activities including scope, schedule, cost, technical, and staffing performance for cybersecurity programs.
• Lead problem-solving discussions with technology and cross-functional teams.
• Manage both waterfall and agile project management processes, including creating and maintaining project plans and reports.
• Facilitate communication across all levels of the organization to resolve resource, schedule, and scope conflicts.
• Create and promote product evangelism internally and externally.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering program/project management.
• Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Experience with large-scale, global, distributed software programs.
• Experience in a supply chain environment is required.
• Experience in budget and financial planning is required.
• Strong technical skills in Microsoft tools and software development processes (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Knowledge of cloud-based development environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).

Nice-to-haves

• Fluency in Japanese (speaking, reading, writing).
• Experience with JAMA software.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
• Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification is a plus.
