About the position

BAE Systems is seeking an experienced cleared IT Program Manager to lead an engineering team on a technology-based program supporting a key government customer in agency Enterprise Management System Tools and Cybersecurity. This role involves managing complex programs, recruiting and developing talent, and delivering monthly Program Management Reviews. Responsibilities

• Lead an engineering team on a technology-based program supporting a key government customer.
• Manage contract task order responsibilities and deliver monthly Program Management Reviews.
• Recruit and develop top talent for the program.
• Formulate and execute acquisition and engineering schedules in coordination with subcontractors and technology vendors.
• Communicate effectively through written and verbal methods to stakeholders.
• Handle multiple tasks and adapt to a constantly changing environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 16 years' experience in relevant fields.
• Over 10 years of proven experience as a Program Manager or in other managerial positions.
• Over 5 years of experience working on government enterprise infrastructure and engineering programs.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to formulate and execute aggressive acquisition and engineering schedules.
• Technically proficient in modern Systems Engineering best practices, network technology, and automation of network provisioning.
• Experience developing completion-based efforts from existing Level of Effort (LOE) staffing models.
• Ability to work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to identify and hire new candidates.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
