About the position

The IT Program Manager V at BC Forward is a multi-disciplinary role focused on managing diverse responsibilities within a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior business and technology managers, ensuring that project timelines and milestones are met while providing guidance to project managers. This position requires a strong understanding of financial markets and project management principles, particularly in agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior business and technology managers to oversee program projects.
• Ensure release timelines and milestones are met across all projects within the program.
• Provide direction and guidance to project managers to ensure project success.
• Remove obstacles and influence stakeholders to move projects forward.
• Communicate effectively within a multi-disciplined team across various locations and time zones.

Requirements

• Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with business users and team members.
• Familiarity with scaled agile delivery principles, PI planning, and agile scrum methodology.
• Technical proficiency in SQL, MS Excel, Jira, MS Project, SharePoint, Visio, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
• Strong financial markets product knowledge across various asset classes.

Nice-to-haves

• Computer Engineering or Financial Degree.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with VaR and Risk Analytics.
• Exposure to financial/product control functions within a bank.
• Familiarity with Program Project Risk Tool (PPRT).
