About the position

The IT Program Manager for the IT Product Construction Destination at Royal Caribbean Group is responsible for overseeing all projects within their delivery program, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget while adhering to brand guidelines and KPIs. This role involves collaboration with various IT Product Teams and brand representatives during the construction phase of destinations, managing scope delivery across multiple projects, and effectively communicating with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all projects under the delivery program, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
  • Collaborate with matrixed department representatives and vendors to outline milestones and establish work plans.
  • Follow up with team members to meet project deadlines and provide input on their activities.
  • Manage vendors to ensure compliance with time, budget, safety, and brand guidelines.
  • Review requirements and venue scope documents for deployment and follow up with authors for updates.
  • Participate in weekly meetings to provide updates and highlight potential risks.
  • Coordinate activities to ensure projects progress on schedule and accurately reflect program health.
  • Communicate program status regularly to team and stakeholders.
  • Track timing, budget, cost control, and reporting for projects.
  • Utilize program management tools to develop and maintain project scope and manage customer expectations.
  • Engage Resource Managers to secure resources for project work and communicate changes in demand.
  • Lead, mentor, and support Project Managers on complex projects and assignments.
  • Enforce project management policies, guidelines, metrics, and templates.
  • Streamline project management processes and tools to increase efficiency.
  • Track and report project status, ensuring risks are reviewed and mitigated.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in infrastructure program management.
  • Experience with technical user and business issues in a fast-paced hospitality organization.
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills to back up project assumptions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of Program Management experience preferred.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence at an executive level.
  • Experience working with project execution teams and creating key requirement documentation.
  • Ability to collaborate and achieve results through others, building strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Comfortable working with international teams and in construction environments.
