About the position

The IT Program Manager at Genesis10 will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating programs within the financial industry. This position involves establishing target outcomes, building relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration across multiple organizations. The role requires a strong focus on risk management, dependency management, and compliance with enterprise standards, all while tracking success metrics and managing financials for the program.

Responsibilities

  • Establish the target outcomes in partnership with the stakeholders and leaders
  • Establish and build relationships with business and technology leaders across multiple organizations, as well as Compliance and Risk
  • Coordinate and facilitate the program routines (for example, kick-off, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, and so on)
  • Plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple organizations
  • Promote/facilitate communication and collaboration across organizations to achieve the target outcomes and timeline
  • Facilitate dependency management/risk management/impediment removal
  • Provide status updates to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to the target outcomes, delivery, risks/issues, and schedule
  • Ensure that execution is aligned with target outcomes by working with the sponsor/stakeholders
  • Ensure the work delivered complies with Enterprise Change Management standards
  • Track the success metrics and review performance with stakeholders and leadership
  • Manage the financials and assist with resource planning for the program
  • Provide input to define/improve the Change Management process for the Portfolio
  • Promote collaboration
  • Facilitate collaboration within and across teams
  • Achieve sustainable results

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience with working in an agile SDLC methodology environment
  • Self-driven, innovative and pushes for high-quality measurable outcomes
  • Analytical thinking
  • Demonstrates ability to identify root causes to solve complex problems in highly unstable situations
  • Go-to person for consultation from others
  • Ability to influence decisions
  • Able to use a combination of factual and emotional points to exert influence
  • Able to work collaboratively with specific stakeholders and senior managers

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of software development, may have been involved in hands-on application development
  • Experience managing risk/dependencies/impediments
  • Basic knowledge of automation and continuous delivery practices
  • Ability to participate in their role and utilize necessary tools with minimal guidance
  • Basic awareness of architecture and design
  • Ability to comply with client standards for information security and business architectures
