About the position

The IT Program Manager is responsible for managing client relationships and executing strategic initiatives within an Intelligence Agency organization. This role involves long-term programmatic planning, managing matrixed teams, and ensuring project success through effective communication and leadership. The IT Program Manager will also mentor team members and manage senior client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Implement strategic initiatives and execute long-term programmatic planning efforts.
  • Provide detailed project plans, scope and budget definition, and resource allocation.
  • Organize and facilitate project timelines with clients and team members.
  • Serve as the point person in client communications and provide leadership and mentoring to team members.
  • Support client management and stakeholders to plan for and address risks and issues as they occur.
  • Develop and manage master integration management plans and critical dependency milestone trackers.

Requirements

  • Active and current Top Secret/SCI federal security clearance with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Six (6) or more years of Federal Government project and/or program management experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Relevant certifications in program management (e.g., PMP), systems development, change management, and/or financial management.
  • Demonstrated experience serving the Intelligence Community.
  • Extensive program management skills including the ability to liaise with technical and business teams.
  • Experience leading technology implementations/transformations, specifically with large-scale technology transformation programs.
  • IT strategy skills to develop and document business visions, technology strategies, and project roadmaps.
