About the position

The IT Project Analyst is a developing professional role responsible for coordinating IT project activities, integrating specialty knowledge with industry standards, and applying analytical thinking to solve complex problems. The role requires attention to detail and effective communication skills to manage project documentation and status updates, ensuring quality and timeliness of service that impacts the business and related teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities of an IT project team, identifying necessary resources and developing schedules to meet completion deadlines.
• Collaborates in the development of project business and system requirements.
• Develops requirement documentation.
• Communicates with project staff and clients regarding the status of projects.
• Utilizes project management tools and provides project status tracking and metrics.
• Contributes to process improvement efforts.
• Evaluates business processes, system processes, and industry standards.
• Makes evaluative judgments based on analysis of information; resolves problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in an IT project or Change Management role
• Strong analytical skills in a fast-paced organization
• Exceptional MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to develop clear procedure documents
• High level of attention to detail
• Strong time management skills and a proven track record of meeting various deadlines
• Excellent organizational skills
• Data-driven with a solid understanding of synthesizing large amounts of data into an executive view
