About the position

We seek a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an IT Project Coordinator III. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for providing essential support to our teams to ensure the successful execution of projects. The primary focus will be on offering administrative assistance, assisting with project planning and organization, facilitating communication and collaboration among team members, monitoring project progress, maintaining project documentation, and ensuring quality control. This position requires a strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies, particularly Agile, and the ability to effectively utilize various project management tools. The IT Project Coordinator III will play a crucial role in obtaining, documenting, and communicating estimates for schedule, budget, and performance of assigned projects. They will monitor baseline, resource, and task entry for application and adherence to process, ensuring that all project information is accurately documented and entered into the Project Repository. The candidate will also be responsible for identifying risks, partnering with team members to mitigate those risks, and promptly communicating any issues to the appropriate stakeholders. Additionally, the role involves liaising with vendors at a technical level to understand roadmaps and new technologies, which is essential for keeping the project aligned with current industry standards and innovations. The ideal candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, project management abilities, and a motivation to learn independently while leveraging available resources. They should also have the capability to establish effective relationships within the team and with external partners. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and experience with PM tools like Jira, Microsoft Project, Power BI, and Office Timelines is essential for success in this role. The candidate will also assist in creating Agile dashboards, roadmaps, and internal SharePoint sites, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Obtains, documents, and communicates estimates for schedule, budget, and performance of assigned projects.

  • Restates complex technical information in a format appropriate to the audience.
  • Ensures appropriate documentation and entry of project information into the Project Repository.
  • Identifies risks, partners with team members to mitigate risk, and promptly communicates risks and issues to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Liaise with vendors at a technical level to understand roadmaps and new technologies.
  • Strong planning and organizing and interpersonal skills are required.

Requirements

  • Experience in PM Tools Like Jira, Microsoft Project, Power BI, Office Timelines, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent experience with administrative assistance, project planning and organization, facilitating communication and collaboration among team members, monitoring project progress, maintaining project documentation, and ensuring quality control.
  • Able to understand and adhere to the principles delineated in the Project Management Playbook and able to drive an effective utilization of the Agile methodology.
  • Solid knowledge of Information Technology.
  • Assist with creating the Agile dashboards, roadmaps, and internal SharePoint sites.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, project management abilities, motivation to learn independently and leverage available resources, and the capability to establish effective relationships.
  • Strong planning and organizing, and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
