About the position

The Project Coordinator at WEI plays a crucial role in managing value-added projects within the Engineering department. This position focuses on ensuring project success through effective collaboration with various teams, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and adhering to project management standards. The coordinator will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects, providing updates, and assisting in financial management, all while fostering relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the success of all assigned projects, administrative duties and tasks
  • Monitoring the daily progress of projects
  • Providing detailed updates to project managers or other stakeholders
  • Assist in the creation and set up of project trackers for Project Team in PMO tools
  • Planning meetings and organizing project logistics
  • Manage multiple small projects simultaneously with top-down oversight throughout entire project lifecycle as defined by adherence to WEI PMO standards of scope, budget, and timeline
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for the execution of projects
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal & external stakeholders
  • Assist with financial management of project budgets to ensure all budgets, forecasts and costs are measured, tracked and reported for project success
  • Coordinate internal resources with 3rd party vendors for project coordination and administration
  • Help PMO team members with project dashboard administration
  • Document measurement criteria for success with feedback from Project Managers & Team Leads
  • Actively participate and/or lead project meetings and follow up on action items
  • Help PMO team with measuring and reporting on project performance
  • Participate in post project analysis to reflect upon successes, failures and lessons learned

Requirements

  • Must have experience managing external IT projects
  • Must have worked for a VAR or MSP
  • Bachelor's degree in IT Related field or related experience
  • Technical background in Storage, Compute and Networking Technologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong ability to work independently or in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
  • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Project management certifications/experience
  • Self-starter, self-motivated, able to influence others and help solve problems
  • Ability to troubleshoot and improve internal processes that will increase customer satisfaction
  • Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, SharePoint, or equivalents
