About the position

The IT Project Coordinator will work part-time to support the VP of IT in managing and communicating various IT projects. This role is crucial for ensuring that projects align with company goals and are executed effectively, involving collaboration with IT teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the VP of IT to manage, prioritize, and communicate projects within the IT department and across the company.
• Coordinate the design, testing, and implementation of IT solutions with relevant teams.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders to ensure project alignment and transparency.
• Ensure all projects comply with relevant standards and maintain thorough documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT project management or a related technical organizational role.
• Proven experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Solid understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and software development lifecycles (SDLC).
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum certifications, or equivalent (preferred).
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
