About the position

The IT Project Coordinator will be responsible for administering and coordinating the execution of various Portfolio, Program, and Project Organization initiatives. This role involves assisting teams in understanding and implementing program policies, communicating project efforts across departments, and ensuring that program information sources are maintained and up to date. The coordinator will also monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and coordinate the execution of Portfolio, Program & Project Organization initiatives.
  • Assist assigned teams in understanding and implementing program policies and guidelines.
  • Communicate and coordinate project efforts between various internal and external groups.
  • Serve as a liaison with other departments, interacting with tact and diplomacy.
  • Accumulate, organize, and analyze information from various sources to support leadership's decision-making activities.
  • Ensure that program information sources (wiki, training, documented processes) are maintained and up to date.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and results of program initiatives, identifying ways to improve documentation and processes.

Requirements

  • General knowledge of program management including financials, scheduling, change management, and data management.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong and effective communicator, both verbally and written.
  • Good organization, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to orchestrate and execute multiple activities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to work independently with little to no direction.
  • Ability to thrive in non-routine work that is subject to change.
  • Ability to influence decisions requiring tact, diplomacy, and maturity.
  • Proficient in standard office toolsets (Microsoft Suite, Keynote, SharePoint, Teams, etc.).

Nice-to-haves

  • General knowledge of technology and software development.
  • Knowledge of and skills with Jira, Smartsheet, MyPPM/Clarity, Confluence/Atlassian.
