About the position

The IT Project Coordinator at Delaware Nation Industries is responsible for supporting project managers in the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects within an Agile environment. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills to ensure alignment with business objectives and adherence to Agile principles.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, ensuring that all team members are engaged and contributing.
  • Maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, meeting notes, and reports, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for all stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison between cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and project managers, ensuring clear communication and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Utilize project management tools to track progress, manage tasks, and generate status reports for stakeholders.
  • Identify potential project risks and issues, escalating them to the project manager and helping to devise mitigation strategies.
  • Support the team in identifying areas for process improvement and implementing best practices within the Agile framework.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT project coordination or management, preferably within an Agile environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and experience in Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Project Management Professional (PMP)) are a plus.
