The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in coordinating cross-functional teams on multiple small to medium-sized IT projects, utilizing the principles and tools of the PMBOK Framework. This position requires a proactive approach to project management, ensuring that all aspects of the projects are executed smoothly and efficiently. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for developing business cases and project charters, aiding business owners and stakeholders in evaluating the value of proposed projects. They will create project plans, timelines, and budgets for projects typically lasting 0-6 months and of simple to moderate complexity. This includes working closely with stakeholders to determine project scope, identify necessary resources, and establish milestones. The role also involves coordinating with leadership to identify resources and managing the procurement process for equipment and services. In addition to planning and procurement, the Project Coordinator will collaborate with various cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Automation, Safety, Production, Maintenance, and Quality Assurance, to ensure smooth project execution. They will maintain accurate project documentation, track expenses, and provide regular updates to stakeholders, ensuring that all project activities are well-documented and communicated effectively. This position is essential for the successful delivery of IT projects within fairlife, contributing to the company's mission of providing high-quality nutrition products to consumers.

Responsibilities

  • Developing business cases and project charters to aid business owners and stakeholders in evaluating proposed projects.
  • Creating project plans, timelines, and budgets for small to medium-sized projects (0-6 months in duration).
  • Working with stakeholders to determine project scope, identify resources, and establish project milestones.
  • Coordinating with leadership to identify resources for projects and managing the procurement process for equipment and services.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and resolving any issues or conflicts that arise.
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation, including project plans, charters, risk and issue logs, and project status reports.
  • Tracking project progress, expenses, and providing regular updates to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in information technology or related discipline, or comparable work experience.
  • CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) or comparable work experience.
  • 2-3 years' experience in coordinating or managing traditional/waterfall projects in information technology.
  • Some experience in coordinating hybrid projects consisting of both traditional and agile methodologies is desired.
  • Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities to meet deadlines and stakeholder requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with a diverse range of constituencies.
  • Ability to lead and influence project team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage project budgets.
  • Detail-oriented with proficiency in computerized information systems used in project management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Project, MS Planner, MS Teams, and MS SharePoint.
