SIS has an immediate opportunity for an IT Project Lead to support the Air Force at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH. In this position you will have Project Lead responsibility for the Information Technology (IT) Services Support efforts. This support includes tasks to ensure an effective Information Management concept and structure that fosters timely deployment and optimal operation of Information Systems to support the research of the AF mission. Management and oversight may include, but not be limited to Customer Support, Application Development, Configuration Management, Planning, Network Implementation, Systems Integration, Systems Administration, Systems Support, Communication Support, Computer-Communication Maintenance, Network Multimedia Devices, Asset Management, Video Teleconference (VTC) and Meeting Support, and Cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

  • Organizes, directs, and manages the task requirements.
  • Develops schedules, coordinates resources, and serves as a technical lead.
  • Meets with Government personnel and contractor personnel to formulate and review task order plans and deliverable items.
  • Ensures conformance with task order schedules and costs.
  • Demonstrates capability for oral and written communications with all levels of management.
  • Maintains thorough knowledge of the capabilities of applicable computer and communications configurations.
  • Utilizes project management scheduling tools effectively.
  • Manages and controls funds and resources, demonstrating capability in managing multi-task task orders.

Requirements

  • 5 years of specific experience in managing the overall operating functions of modern medium or large-scale computer environments.
  • Experience in computer network operations, windows systems administration, hardware and software maintenance, customer support, and production control.
  • Demonstrated management expertise through the effective use of project management scheduling tools.
  • Proven expertise in the management and control of funds and resources.
  • Demonstrated capability in managing multi-task task orders of this type and complexity.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; associate's degree or less acceptable with additional experience.
  • Current/active DoD SECRET security clearance; TOP SECRET is a plus.
  • Current/active IAT II (i.e., Security+) or higher certification.
  • U.S. Citizenship is Mandatory.
