About the position

The IT Project Management Office (PMO) Analyst is a part-time position responsible for deploying integrated solutions that modernize, consolidate, and coordinate independently designed applications across the organization. This role involves working closely with management to provide vision, leadership, and direction to the PMO Program and Project Teams, ensuring alignment with organizational and business objectives. The PMO Analyst will support the Frederick Health (FH) mission, vision, core values, and customer service philosophy, adhering to the FH Compliance Program and all regulatory requirements. In this role, the PMO Analyst will monitor PMO best practice standards, ensuring effective alignment with the organization's strategic direction. They will manage or assist Project Managers with large, complex technology deployments or systems implementations, such as Priority Packs, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and project scope. The PMO Analyst will also monitor and report on project progress from initiation through delivery, providing essential updates to stakeholders. Additionally, the PMO Analyst will provide training on PMO Methodology and the utilization of Smartsheet Tools, track and report on PMO resources to ensure effective project delivery and resource allocation, and build relationships to promote team building and improve communication among PMO Project Managers and Key Stakeholders throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor PMO best practice standards with effective alignment to organizational strategic direction.
  • Manage or assist Project Managers with large, complex technology deployments or systems implementations to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of project.
  • Monitor and report on project progress from initiation through delivery.
  • Provide training on PMO Methodology and utilization of Smartsheet Tools.
  • Track and provide reports on PMO resources to ensure effective project delivery and resource allocation.
  • Build relationships, promote team building and improve communication between and among the PMO Project Managers and Key Stakeholders throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or Information Technology; a master's degree is preferred.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in Project Management and/or PMO Experience.
  • Project Management Certification strongly preferred or obtained within one year of hire.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience with resource management.
  • Experience coaching and/or mentoring team members.

Nice-to-haves

  • Technical proficiency including expertise in PMO methodologies and utilization of toolsets like Smart sheets, Teams and other PMO software.
  • Project planning, risk management, time management and other project management skills.
