About the position

As an IT Project Manager at MetroStar, you will lead DevSecOps, Cloud, and Cyber projects within the National Security business unit, specifically supporting the Intel account. This role focuses on strategic analysis and operational excellence to enable transformative improvements and IT modernization for mission-critical solutions. You will be a key player in problem-solving, managing client relationships, and ensuring project success through effective leadership and communication.

Responsibilities

• Identify innovative solutions to project deadlocks and resolve issues through consensus and sound judgment.
• Work closely with development teams to contribute to product architecture and design.
• Develop, cultivate, and manage client relationships.
• Prioritize, lead, and manage tasking of project team and completion of assignments.
• Evaluate, prioritize, and manage impacts of project scope changes, issues, and risks.
• Escalate project risks to appropriate MetroStar and client stakeholders.

Requirements

• Active TS//SCI clearance with CI poly.
• Six (6) years of experience managing complex federal projects involving cloud, Kubernetes, DevSecOps, IT modernization, or software development.
• Experience supporting the Intelligence Community.
• Strong skills in developing integrated project work breakdown structures (WBS), milestones, and schedules with the ability to identify and characterize project dependencies.
• Understanding of Agile principles and methodologies, particularly Scrum.
• Proven expertise collaborating with customer PMs, leads, partners, and stakeholders.
• Ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including briefing senior/executive stakeholders on project status, accomplishments, schedule, issues, and risks.
