About the position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager for a 6-month contract position based in Columbus, OH. This role involves managing multiple medium to high complexity, high-profile projects while adapting to FSI PMO processes and project reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage stakeholders and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead multiple medium/high complexity projects.
• Quickly adapt to FSI PMO processes and required project reporting.
• Take the lead in managing stakeholders to make the best decisions and communicate effectively.
• Utilize well-developed oral and written communication skills to interact with all levels of management.
• Work comfortably and effectively with diverse project sponsors and multiple business units.
• Influence and manage project team members without a formal direct reporting structure.
• Apply strong negotiating and influencing skills.
• Use analytical skills and strategic thinking for budgeting, forecasting, monitoring, process management, risk management, quality control, reporting, and operational efficiencies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience managing multiple medium/high complexity, high-profile projects.
• Well-versed in Contact Center/Call Center technology and general telecommunication knowledge.
• Familiarity with Genesys Contact Center is a plus.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience managing and influencing project team members without a formal direct reporting structure.
• Strong negotiating and influencing skills.
• Solid understanding and knowledge of PMI-based project management competency areas and methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred, but not required.
