About the position

The IT Project Manager will oversee various IT projects within the banking sector, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with company processes. This role requires a strong understanding of both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies, as well as the ability to manage project financials and risks effectively. The position is hybrid, requiring a minimum of two days onsite each week.

Responsibilities

• Define project requirements and write project scope documents.
• Identify and document project risks and track budgets.
• Differentiate between risks and issues, and manage escalation items.
• Conduct meetings and manage end-to-end project financials.
• Collaborate with colleagues to align with company processes and procedures.
• Drive governance and assist with project scorecards.
• Create project charters and manage project schedules using Waterfall methodologies.
• Implement Agile project management practices in a hybrid environment.

Requirements

• Mid-level IT project management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Experience with banking projects and regulatory requirements.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end project financials and resource demand allocation.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with CAPPM/Clarity for resource demand and allocation.
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
• Ability to present effectively to executive stakeholders.
