About the position

The IT Project Manager/Business Analyst will play a crucial role in the upgrade and enhancement of the Netsmart platform, which manages Medicare and Medicaid reimbursements. This position involves acting as a liaison between the end client and the service vendor, ensuring project timelines and budgets are adhered to, and facilitating communication and accountability throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires strong business analysis skills to support analytics as needed, and the ability to work primarily remotely with occasional in-person meetings in Hartford, CT.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the liaison between the end client and the service vendor.
  • Track project budget and timeline to ensure the project is on track.
  • Hold the vendor accountable to deliverables and deadlines.
  • Ensure the collection of project artifacts and manage schedules.
  • Host weekly progress report meetings.
  • Support the analytics side of the portfolio as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager.
  • Ability to manage vendor relationships and hold them accountable to deadlines and project planning.
  • Previous experience as a Business Analyst with requirement and project analysis expertise.
  • Experience managing a project hosted in the cloud.
  • Experience working with SaaS solutions.
