About the position

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized IT Project Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for successfully planning, executing, and delivering a variety of IT projects for our Managed Service Provider (MSP) and Enterprise clients, focusing on on-premise datacenter and cloud hosting services. You will collaborate with internal infrastructure teams, external development teams, solution architects, and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of services that meet business objectives, while maintaining transparency of project financials, risks, and issues.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management for cloud and infrastructure initiatives, including defining project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Deliver projects in alignment with company procedures and PMO standards.
  • Leverage project level experience to improve the overall tech transformation program.
  • Work within PMO tooling (Wrike) to develop comprehensive project delivery plans.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for the flawless execution of AWS projects.
  • Provide regular technical, status, and budget updates to senior management.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders, including project personnel, vendors, and end-users, to ensure project requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Accurately forecast, track and report on project KPI's.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
  • Monitor project progress, manage budgets, and raise change orders as necessary.
  • Track and report on project financials, ensuring projects are delivered within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with best practices, SOPs, PMO policies, and customer-mandated policies.
  • Implement quality control processes to ensure deliverables meet the highest standards.

Requirements

  • At least six (6) years of experience in project management with 2+ years managing cloud projects.
  • Technical understanding of networking, infrastructure & cloud components.
  • Proven experience with AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps engineers, and architects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess project risks, impact, and alternatives.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience within Managed Service Provider (MSP) preferred.
  • Beneficial to have experience around delivery of projects relating to Cloud Cost Management function and reporting.
  • Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks (e.g., AWS Well-Architected Framework).
