About the position

The IT Project Manager at Instacart will oversee the entire project lifecycle for medium to high impact projects within the Information Technology Department. This role involves planning, managing, and implementing applications, infrastructure changes, and process-oriented projects, while collaborating with various departments to streamline business processes and implement new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with IT and other departments to implement new technologies and streamline business processes.
• Create and manage project plans for medium to large IT projects with a moderate to high degree of ambiguity.
• Define and own project strategies based on research and data.
• Develop deliverables such as charters, project plans, presentations, and agendas.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior management and peers within the IT department and cross-functionally.
• Encourage collaboration and teamwork to solve problems and scale processes.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience as a project manager/program manager.
• 2+ years experience developing project plans for complex projects with minimal supervision.
• 2+ years experience in Information Technology.
• 1+ years experience working with senior management on medium to large scale projects.
