About the position

The IT Project Manager at Concentrix is responsible for leading and managing large-scale information technology projects, particularly those exceeding $5 million. This role requires a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in project management, adept in various methodologies including Waterfall and Agile. The position involves coordinating project efforts, managing stakeholder communications, and ensuring successful project delivery through effective planning and risk management. The IT Project Manager will work closely with the Concentrix Catalyst team to enhance customer experience through strategic consulting and technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage the development and implementation of information technology projects.
• Coordinate project efforts and create communication and risk plans.
• Prepare and enable training while championing change.
• Create and maintain detailed project plans broken down into features, epics, and stories.
• Conduct 2- or 3-week sprints with incremental delivery where appropriate.
• Develop fast, fail early, with early and integrated reviews by business.
• Monitor critical path tied to an end-to-end schedule.
• Create and manage burn down charts for development effort.
• Forecast and track defect rate and velocity.
• Develop recovery plans to address schedule or resource impacts.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10+ years in Project Management.
• Experience managing projects over $5 million and multiple year initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, and Agile-Hybrid project methodologies.
• Ability to create and maintain detailed project plans.
• Experience with risk management methodology and reporting templates.
• Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
