About the position

The IT Project Manager for ERP at Regal Rexnord will lead ERP implementation projects from planning to completion, ensuring effective management of resources, budgets, and schedules. This role is crucial in supporting both Digital Transformation Teams and IT, focusing on maturing the PMO practice and facilitating communication among stakeholders. The position requires a hybrid work model, with some on-site presence in Milwaukee, WI, and may involve global travel for project needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead ERP implementation projects from planning to completion through the software development life cycle.
• Determine and define project scope and objectives.
• Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
• Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.
• Track project costs to meet budget.
• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
• Act as primary interface regarding deliverables, changes, and sign-off on status and requirements.
• Ensure project requirements are met, the scope is managed, and milestones deliverables are met.
• Maintain visibility and facilitate timely discussions and decisions for project risks & issues.
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
• Execute any needed reporting at the project and portfolio level.
• Ensure open communication amongst team members, eliciting transparency and cross-team coordination.
• Work beyond their own projects and develop processes to benefit the full project portfolio.
• Lead meetings between stakeholders, resources, manager and executives.
• Coordinate changes with product owners and development teams for all other systems that communicate with the ERPs, including the integration layer to reach the order management system (OMS) and product information management system (PIM).
• Mentor and coach project managers and coordinators within the ERP implementation space.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline/equivalent.
• 5-8 years of Project Management Experience.
• Experience leading ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) implementations is a must.
• Experience with SAP and/or Oracle preferred.
• Experience in both traditional waterfall as well as Agile methods.
• Ability to work within cross functional & multiple location projects is a must.
• Effective executor with the ability to implement complex transformation programs in a global organization.
• Effective communicator with strong executive presence and the ability to interact with the Regal Leadership Team and outside partners.
